The Elevator Game is a ritual that is said to give the player access to another world by following a strict set of rules.
Motivated by a bet made with her classmate, Asahi's girlfriend Kirin decides to give the game a try. As Asahi waits outside of the building that Kirin chose to perform the ritual in, she starts to experience some confusing and unexplainable things...
Kirin fails to return that day, or the day after. Feeling somehow guilty as though Kirin's disappearance might be her fault, Asahi determines to try and find her missing girlfriend... by playing the Elevator Game herself.
Will your choices help find her?

This game was so incredible good - exactly the right mix of (animated cartoon) horror and point-and-click for me! It bet it had to be a nightmare itself for the developer to set the design and interactive mode, especially the animation of the elevator buttons, a great milestone for RenPy based games. Plus, the easter eggs - I loved them all :D
I am very interested in the ETAW horror rumor in general and your work is a perfect done job when it comes to set the scene. Again, an amazing combo of a given horror story, the catgirls and bullying with it's consequences for the victim. Actually the game seems to represent reality much better than at the first glance, because it's always up to the victim to deal with the bad feelings and pay the price for trusting someone to much despite one had to know better. But of course I really appreciate the comparatively positive outcome.
Here I am now, asking for a possible sequel to "The Elevator Game with Catgirls". Sure, their plot is closed and original ETAW consists of one run of the game only, but it was such a great game! I'd like to know whether we can hope for a comeback of Asahi and their friends in another apartment building disaster...
I know I'm like 3 months late to the party but regardless I'm here to spread the word haha. No tho I really enjoyed this entire game & it was well worth the wait.
Thank you for playing and for the kind words! :) We're glad you enjoyed it!
i loove this game, but i can't seem to find out what supposed to do? after getting the Otherworld ending and the (one right to the right of it), playing the elevator game 3rd time seems to just always fail -- it never goes back up to 10th floor after pushing 1st o.o playing on linux build, all happens is if i go to 0 it prompts to reset, have tried multiple times and always same result)
We're glad to hear you're enjoying the game!
